Selective Prosecution • Violated Constitutional Rights • Abuse of Gang Enhancements
Who Is Richard Holt Jr.?
Richard Holt Jr. is a pro per inmate in San Bernardino County representing himself in court. He’s fighting for his freedom against a deeply unfair and corrupt prosecutorial effort—one driven not by justice, but by bias, retaliation, and unchecked authority.
Despite clear evidence showing he was not at the crime scene — including GPS monitor data — Richard is facing a potential life sentence, not because of the law, but because of the people enforcing it.
Corrupt Individuals Behind the Case
- Two deputies involved in Holt’s original arrest are also tied to the prosecution team.
- One deputy is part of the Gang Task Force, and the other was involved in a search warrant that led to an unauthorized cell search of Holt’s legal materials.
- Holt’s motions and court documents were taken or destroyed, interfering directly with his ability to represent himself.
Constitutional Rights Violated
Richard Holt’s constitutional rights have been violated repeatedly:
- 1st Amendment – Denial of access to the courts by interfering with legal materials.
- 5th & 14th Amendments – Violation of due process through selective prosecution and misconduct.
- 6th Amendment – Right to a fair trial denied by misconduct and targeting of a self-represented defendant.
- 8th Amendment – Excessive and unjust gang enhancements used to threaten a life sentence for a burglary charge.
This Is Not About a Broken System — It’s About Corrupt People
The injustice in Holt’s case doesn’t stem from the law itself, but from the individuals abusing their authority. This is not a system failure — it’s a deliberate violation of rights by those sworn to uphold them.
